This is by far the most frustrating computer I have ever purchased. It is incredibly slow, freezing very often. But the biggest issue is that it has severe bugs connecting to the internet wirelessly. I’ve already downloaded three separate drivers and the problem has not been fixed. Samsung’s tech support is a joke, they have no idea of what’s wrong (or know it can’t be fixed?) and just keep asking you to follow some online instructions and reboot the machine.
This is a piece of junk. Don’t buy it. And be suspicious of those who tell you otherwise, because internet forums are full of people with the same complaints, so it’s for sure not just me.

I had a problem with the power button. It was in a depressed position and wouldn’t power up. I tried to loosen the button and scratched the area. Therefore they nullified the warranty. I had the computer 8 months with low usage. Now I am stuck.

The netbook idea is great. This unit is really small and easy to carry. It does just about everything you would want in a portable home computer. Two reasons for not giving it 5 stars is battery life. The advertised 6 hours of battery life is way overstated. I’m seeing around 3-4 provided the battery is at full charge when I start. Next is the memory. I would like to have a little more memory to speed up operations. I think that with all the stuff that you want like music running and trying to surf the web at the same time or even playing cards or something, it would be most helpful to have a little more memory for speed as there’s usually a lot of stuff running in the background sucking up memory and slowing things down a bit.

I have owned the NC10 for about three weeks and there really isn’t anything that I can say bad about it. If I had to pick a con it would be the touch pad mouse. Really though I think that it’s mostly the fact that it’s on a netbook. The mouse is small and can be a pain to use for long periods of time. I purchased a wireless mouse with a ‘nano’ receiver and I just leave the receiver in the netbook. The battery seems to last about 6 hours, it depends on what you are doing. I run a few older games like Age of Empires 2 and Mechcommander and they run great. I am going to install Halflife and see how that goes. One big selling point was that this one still had Windows XP. The ram upgrade will be needed but for now before I run anything more taxing it works great. The keyboard is easy to get used to. The wireless picks up better signal than my full size HP notebook. Any questions about this please respond or email me!! Enjoy this great product!!!

I’ve so bad experience about NC10.
I thought it’s temporary to show white color screen when it occured some times.
However, two months later, it showed more often, so I hold the power frame to attach LCD to resolve white screen.
No body can expect LCD could be broked from holding. LCD is very weak and low quality.
I made claim about the issue, but Samsung ignored.
I can’t help throwing my PC into garbage.
I am so sorry to have bad experience with the PC.
